This Privacy Policy explains what information DrumHisaab ("the App") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. DrumHisaab is built for milk collectors and distributors in India to manage daily entries, ledgers, and payments, both online and offline.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and mobile number, used to create and verify your account (email verification and SMS OTP).

Business records you enter: farmer and customer names, mobile numbers, codes, stop order sequences, milk collection/delivery entries, rate charts, balances, and payment records (including payment method — UPI app used, or cash — but not full payment card or bank account numbers).

Device and usage information: basic device/app diagnostics (such as crash reports) used only to identify and fix problems, collected automatically through Firebase Crashlytics.

2. How We Use This Information

• To operate the core features of the App: entry logging, ledgers, rate calculation, and payment tracking.
• To sync your data securely between your device and our cloud database (Firebase/Google Cloud) so it is available across sessions and backed up.
• To verify your identity at signup and when you change your registered mobile number.
• To process subscription payments through our payment processor (Razorpay), which handles payment details directly — we do not store your full card or UPI credentials ourselves.
• To identify and fix technical problems using crash and diagnostic reports.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Firebase (a Google Cloud service) with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We apply access controls and input validation to protect against unauthorized access or tampering. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no system can guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

When you delete a farmer or customer record, it is moved to a Recycle Bin and kept for 30 days (during which you can restore it), after which it is permanently deleted. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us using the details below.

5. Third-Party Services

DrumHisaab uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy: Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and diagnostics; Razorpay for payment processing; and Google Sign-In, if you choose to use it to log in.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for optional features (such as crash diagnostics) where applicable, subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

7. Children's Privacy

DrumHisaab is intended for use by adults operating a milk collection or distribution business and is not directed at children under 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top.
